Cross Creek Community Church, 4825 US Hwy 278 E, Hokes Bluff, AL 35903, respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how our text messages (Cross Creek Community Church Texts) work.

What we collect

When you fill out our Connect Card & Text Sign-Up card, we collect your name, mobile number, and, if you choose, your email address and any prayer request or question you write down. We also keep a record of your text consent: the signed card, the date, and the initials of the church member who received it. If you sign up by texting JOIN, we keep your mobile number and the date and time of your JOIN text. If you reply STOP, START, or HELP, we keep a record of that too.

How we use it

We use your mobile number only to send Cross Creek Community Church texts you agreed to: visitor welcome and follow-up messages, and, for deacons, deacon schedule (lockup) reminders. Message frequency varies, up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. We use your email address, if given, only to contact you about the church.

We do not share your mobile number

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Consent to receive texts is consent to Cross Creek Community Church only.

We use Twilio, a text messaging service, only to deliver the messages we send. We may also share information if the law requires it.

How we keep it safe

Signed cards are kept on file at the church for at least 4 years. Mobile numbers and JOIN sign-up records are kept in the church's Deacon tools and text messaging account, which only approved church leaders can sign in to.

Stopping texts

To stop texts, reply STOP at any time. You will get one message confirming you are unsubscribed, and then no more texts. To start again, reply START. For help, reply HELP, call 256-492-6900, or email info@crosscreekcc.net.
